This course will form the basis of any study plan you choose to follow at GenkiJACS. It consists of ten 50-minute grammar classes per week, and ten 4-skill “application” classes, where you practice what you learned in communicative situations.

Four extra classes each week of conversational Japanese focus on some of the interesting aspects of conversational Japanese that can be hard to cover in the standard classes, such as slang, dialects, specialized vocabulary, and more.

This extra module can be added to your core Japanese course and will have you exploring the island by all modes of water transport, and enjoying yourself like never before. 3 additional classes per week.

This add-on gives you 6 extra hours per week of guided cultural experiences, offering you the opportunity to learn about the wonderful culture that Japan has nurtured for thousands of years. Take this chance to participate in cultural arts with other students and Japanese people, and brush up your language skills while doing so!

Experience Kyoto at its most beautiful with the Seasons of Japan: Autumn in Kyoto module. As the city comes alive with brilliant autumn colors, you'll combine Japanese language learning with unforgettable seasonal experiences, from cultural activities to a guided day trip. Discover historic temples, local traditions, and the beauty of Kyoto in autumn while practicing your Japanese, making new friends, and creating memories that will last long after your journey ends.

Add this package to be guided through 3 sightseeing destinations per week, offering you the opportunity to explore all the sights, history, and rare experiences Nagoya and surrounding Aichi Prefecture have to offer. Our knowledgeable guide will explain it all, and you’ll pick up some extra Japanese in the process!

The Summer Course is a special package program offered only during Summer at Genki Japanese and Culture School. It combines the best, most fun activities of our culture courses with special services only available to minors. Younger students are sure to love our Summer Course!

One-to-one lessons focusing on whatever content you like.
